Blackberry 7130e for Verizon - expected shortly!
Posted by Administrator under Cell Phone Reviews , AnnouncementsVerizon is expected to release the new BlackBerry 7130e, which will be the first EVDO handset from RIM BlackBerry. Verizon will be offering Broadband Access Connect plans with the new Blackberry 7130e.

The 7130e is a CDMA phone operating in the 800/1900 MHz cdmaOne and CDMA2000 1X networks. The Ev-DO technology, gets you super fast download and internet speeds. When you connect the 7130e to your laptop, the Blackberry acts as a wireless modem, providing super a fast internet connection not unlike a DSL or Cable. With Verizon’s Coast-to-Coast coverage the 7130e helps the mobile professional stay in touch all the time, wherever they travel in the US.
BroadbandAccess Connect is available for US $15 with Verizon’s voice and unlimited data plan beginning at $79.99. If you are looking at mostly data usage, then BroadbandAccess is available for $30 with Verizon’s data-only plan at $49.99. This pricing is significantly higher than that of T-Mobile who offers a free cellular modem and unlimited internet use for only $29.99/month.
We expect to see the BlackBerry 7130e at the beginning of December at a price level of about $149.99 after rebates with a two-year contract.
